Engage may require a quick SMTP/IMAP set up from your end in order to be able to send and receive emails from your email domains. This is a how-to guide in order to set up your email accounts quick and painless πŸ˜„

Note - if you are connecting a Gmail or Outlook email account, you will be taken to a SSO pop up window. Follow the guidance from there and you'll be taken to the last 2 quick steps right away.

Also, Office356 accounts can be connected via the Outlook SSO

STEP 1: Visit the Integrations dashboard on your account

STEP 2: Click Connect on the Email Integration

Step 3: Choose the Email Service Provider that the email you want to connect uses -

Mailbox Setup

Full name: your actual Name. This will be used in the dynamic content (greetings and signature) within the warming emails as well.

Email: the email account that you want to use for sending out emails. Username: identical to the previous "Email" field: the email account that you want to use for sending your campaigns.

Password: The password you use to sign into the email account you are connecting

Test Connection

All your settings will be in place. Here's an example of the settings -

Settings:

IMAP Host: "imap.zoho.com"
IMAP Port: 993
TLS: true (Tick the box)

SMTP Host: "smtp.zoho.com"
SMTP Port: 465
TLS: true (Tick the box)

Next, click Test Settings, wait a moment until the settings have been confirmed and moved onto the next step.

Email Account Limits

You will need to set the limits for how many emails you want to send per day -

If your email is new or hasn't undergone the warming-up process, we suggest beginning with a modest number, such as 10 or 20 initially. It's advisable to gradually increase this quantity week by week.

Signature

Fill out your details in the signature section. In the SIGNATURE box, this is what your signature will look like when you enter the custom field - {{sender_signature}}

You will be taken to the integration dashboard where you should see your email connected like this -
