The date picker in Reveal allows you to filter your identified visitors by specific time periods. This is useful for reviewing recent activity, analyzing historical trends, or generating reports for specific date ranges.

The date picker provides several preset options for common time periods. These quick selections make it easy to view visitors from today, this week, last month, or other frequently-used ranges without having to manually select dates.

If the preset options don't match your needs, you can select a custom date range. This is useful for creating specific reports, analyzing campaign performance during exact time periods, or comparing specific weeks or months.

When you select a date range, Reveal filters visitors based on their 

 within that range. If a visitor returned multiple times, they'll appear in the date range of their initial visit, not their most recent return.

The date range selector is located at the top right of the Reveal dashboard, next to the search bar and export button. Your selected range is remembered across sessions, so you don't have to reset it each time you log in.

Date ranges work together with all other filters and segments. For example, you can select 'Last 30 Days' and then apply filters for company size or industry to see only visitors matching both criteria. This makes it easy to answer questions like "How many enterprise companies visited us this month?" or "Which tech companies came to our site last week?"
