Hello, You purchased Happierleads to identify your website visitors. The additional costs we are discussing are not for visitor identification itself—they are for the sending infrastructure required to run outbound email campaigns safely and effectively. The domain is yours to own and keep, and the mailbox costs only $4/month per mailbox. These are optional add-ons designed to protect your primary business domain and maximize email deliverability. While you can connect and send emails from your existing business mailbox, we generally do not recommend it. Cold outreach can impact your domain reputation if not managed correctly. That’s why most companies use dedicated sending domains and mailboxes specifically for outbound campaigns. Successful email outreach requires much more than simply sending emails. You need proper domain setup, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, mailbox warm-up, sending limits, gradual volume increases, reputation monitoring, and many other deliverability best practices. The advantage of using our managed setup is that we handle all of this for you. Because everything is managed in one place, we can configure the infrastructure using proven settings and best practices, giving you the highest chance of landing in the inbox while protecting your main business domain. Of course, if you prefer, you can connect your own domains and mailboxes and avoid these additional costs altogether. However, for most customers, the managed option is the safest and simplest way to get started with outbound email successfully.
